Standard Clay Pots- Choose a pot 1-2” larger than the plant size. For example, a 6” plant wants a 7-8” terracotta pot.
Waterproof Saucers- A good match is a saucer the same diameter of the pot or just a bit smaller. A 6" pot gets a 5-6" saucer.
Decorative Pots with Drainage - Choose a pot the same size or 1-2” larger. For example, a 6” plant wants a 6” or 8” egg pot.
Cachepots- Choose a pot the same size as the plant. A cachepot acts as a slipcover and you do not repot the plant into the container. I recommend keeping the plant in its plastic pot, and removing that unit from the cachepot to water, allowing it to drain before returning. Water will build up in the pot otherwise, drowning your plant.
